As the excitement around NECA’s weekly vault unlocks continues to build, week 3 brings us a tantalizing array of collectibles that are sure to entice movie buffs and collectors alike. This week, the spotlight shines on Quentin Tarantino, with a collection that pays homage to his unique cinematic vision.
Remember, you can only order one of each item per order and Neca is offering a flat postage charge of $9.99 in the US.
Quentin Tarantino Enters the Action Figure Realm
Leading the pack is a remarkable piece for fans of "The Hateful Eight": an 8” scale clothed action figure of Quentin Tarantino himself, not just as the iconic director but as 'The Writer & Director' of the film. This limited edition figure, priced at $31.99, boasts intricate detailing, right down to the clapperboard in Tarantino’s hand. It's a brilliant addition, complementing the retro-clothed line from NECA’s previous releases.

With only 3,000 pieces available worldwide, it’s a neat limited edition piece to add to your collection. The figure is often fetching $70 on the secondary market, so the $31.99 offering here is a great buy.
In a tribute to the collaboration between Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino, NECA introduces a series of 7” scale action figures from "Grindhouse." Each priced at $19.99, these figures are a cool addition for fans of the film:
Army Soldier (Quentin Tarantino): The character ‘Rapist #1’, played by Tarantino in the “Planet Terror” segment, is brought to life with chilling accuracy. This figure includes an alternate damaged head, capturing the essence of the film's gritty realism.
Cherry: Rose McGowan’s iconic character, Cherry, the go-go dancer with a vengeance, is meticulously crafted. Complete with her machine gun leg, this figure is a standout piece for fans of the film.
Dakota: Marley Shelton's portrayal of Dakota, the resilient doctor, is immortalized in this detailed figure. It comes equipped with accessories, adding to its authenticity and appeal.
Additionally, this week offered a brief window to acquire the much-sought-after Django Unchained dolls, except Django himself. Although rapidly sold out, these figures were individually priced at $84.99, aside from the elusive Broomhilda Von Shaft, listed at a staggering $349.99.
The full set of dolls was available in week one of the Neca Vault event, priced at $999.99 (usually selling upwards of $4k for a set). Again these sold out within minutes of launching.
NECA’s third week of vault celebrates Quentin Tarantino’s cinematic genius but did lack the variety for those not fussed about the director. If you are a fan, you will find some nice new additions to your collection at reasonable prices. They are bound to be snapped up quickly, so be quick to add them to your collections.
Stay tuned for more exciting releases from NECA's vault in the coming weeks!
