Droppp Announces Funko Dungeons & Dragons NFTs

Droppp Announces Funko Dungeons & Dragons NFTs

The next Funko NFT drop has been announced and will feature Dungeon & Dragons NFTs.

Funko Dungeons & Dragons NFTs drop March 14 @2pm ET.

We've already had Dungeons & Dragons Funko Pops before, but there is always room for limited pieces!

What do we know so far?

We know that Funko will offer the usual Standard ($9.99) and Premium ($29.99) packs and there will only be 15k packs of each.

So far we know that Acerak is the Grail, whilst one legendary can also be seen in the announcement video and that's Displacer Beast.

Who are Acerak & Displacer Beast?

Acererak is a baddie in Dungeons & Dragons. He's a lich who loves to trick adventurers with deadly traps and puzzles. He's famous for the Tomb of Horrors, a really tough adventure module.

The Displacer Beast is a cool fictional creature that looks like a giant black panther with tentacles coming out of its back. It can make itself appear a few feet away from where it actually is, making it super hard to hit in battle.

They're often used as enemies in D&D campaigns because of their speed, strength, and surprise factor.

About Dungeons & Dragons

Dungeons & Dragons, or D&D as it's commonly known, is a truly captivating and fascinating fantasy tabletop game created by the legendary duo, Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson, in the year 1974. This game quickly became a sensation, taking the world by storm and paving the way for numerous books, movies, and games inspired by it.

The game is designed to be played by a group of people, with one person taking on the role of the game master and guiding the others through a vivid world full of intriguing characters and creatures. Each player creates and takes charge of their own unique character, and together, they explore the game's intricacies, tackle challenging puzzles, battle fierce monsters, and complete thrilling quests.

Over the years, D&D has undergone several revisions and updates, with new editions and sourcebooks being introduced frequently. The game has also spawned an enthusiastic community of fans who have created their own fantastic content, artwork, and videos inspired by the game.

What do we think?

The drop size is perfect for this IP, and we have seen some killer-looking Pops and NFT designs from what we have seen so far.

I like it and it's going to be popular, even for those who aren't a fan of Dungeons & Dragons.

Hopefully, we will see a return of Freddy Funko since his absence from the latest Funko House Of The Dragon NFT drop.

We miss you Freddy!
